Choices are Changes you make when you have the Chance.
So why did I decide to become a Celebrant?
In 2019 I had the pleasure of attending 3 weddings, one in a hotel in Ireland, officiated by a registrar, one a blessing in a Church in Ireland by a minister and a marriage conducted by the Mayor in Italy. Not only were they geographically miles apart but they were miles apart in every way, from the delivery to the lack of any quality and quantity of personal content. The registrar in Ireland was impersonal and quick. The church blessing was beautiful but perhaps lacked personal 'special' touches and the wedding in Italy was two separate parts. The legal element by the Mayor and then the celebration by the celebrant.
Whilst they were all beautiful ceremonies in their individual rights, this planted the first seed of ‘I would love to do something like that’ but what would I do differently?
What I offer...
As your celebrant I will ensure I create the informed celebration with you central, with choices to choose from.
A ceremony that defines who you are as a couple and a family, a friendly welcoming celebration that is fun and meaningful. I will involve whomever or whatever you dream and desire, whether that is children, loved animals or special touches anywhere, day or night. It will be personalised to reflect your personalities and your wishes with the people present that mean the most to you.
I am passionate and committed to being the best I can be. I will be inclusive of all and will integrate any cultural and religious beliefs requested into ceremonies so they are all bespoke, meaningful and personalised.
This, I believe is how significant milestones in the circle of life should be honoured and I would Love to do that with and for you.
